Advanced cutting classes at Bumble+Bumble and Oribe make her an expert at scissor cuts and a specialist at razor cuts. Rory was a senior instructor at Cowboys and Angels training program, helping to mold the next generation of stylists.

Due to the pandemic related closing of Cowboys and Angels, Rory now cuts hair at Tokyo In San Francisco, and Plaid Studio in Los Angeles.
